Improved ride feel

The XC wheelset stands up to the rigours of technical XC racing, light trail riding and won’t let you down on long days in the saddle.  Light at 1400g, but reliable – that’s the aim of The XC wheelset which is why they are built with DT Swiss hubs and brass nipples.

Why brass nipples and not aluminium?  They weigh only 20g more per wheel and the payoff is better longevity,  strength it’s a no brainer!

30mm Internal, UST Tubeless ready

The XC wheelset has been updated for 2024 with a 30mm internal width and UST tubeless design (no rim tape ever).  The symmetric rim profile is both light and strong to get you to the finish line on increasingly technical XC race courses.

Bulletproof and ever reliable DT Swiss Hubs

Hubs are DT Swiss 350 in Boost width. We use straight pull hubs with center lock brake interface to keep the weight as low as possible for an outright XC wheelset. Given the 350 hubs are within 50g of the more expensive (and more complicated) 240 EXP hubs, the choice is a no-brainer.

The build is completed with black double-butted Sapim D-Light spokes (2.0/1.6mm) with Sapim Race spokes (2.0/1.8mm) on the read drive side to produce a reliable, responsive wheel with reduced weight.
