The Mongrel gravel wheelset is an unholy cross-breed of lightweight XC rims with road disc hubs for when the gravel gets rowdy.

If your rides span smooth gravel to rocky singletrack, The Mongrel wheels are your best friends. Light & responsive (under 1300g!) but also tough when pushed hard.

The 25mm shallow rims and 25mm internal width are ideally paired with 40-50mm wide tyres to give you buckets of grip and a smooth ride over challenging terrain. They're super light too - only 310g each so the bike still feels snappy even with bigger rubber.

The hookless flanges are better at withstanding impacts than hooked rims, but these are made for wide, low pressure tyres so they don't have the same concerns around tyres blowing off compared to road hookless rims. Max pressure is 45psi. 

Black Crow rims have a solid rim bed which means no rim tape or the hassles that go with it.
